Chris Hickey
The new album, Razzmatazz, includes sixteen songs that were written and recorded over the course of three weeks. Hickey used nothing but his own voice and guitar, recording the entire album in a bedroom using a hand-held voice recorder. The effect is nothing short of haunting.
Hickey also has three previous solo records. He was a member of the bands Uma and Show of Hands, and hasappreared on records by Joe Henry, Michael Penn and the Indigo Girls.
